"Even the tiniest seed, with thoughtful grace,
May bloom to light and time itself displace.
From youth who tread the path of cyber right,
Shall rise protectors, steadfast in their might
— A noble band, with wisdom bright and rare."
— Mr. Willis Yung, Founder & Convenor, Seed Master Youth Foundation
Background
In today’s world where digital technology rapidly permeates every aspect of life, cybersecurity is no longer the exclusive concern of professionals
—it has become a daily challenge faced by all. Whether it’s a teenager navigating social media, an elderly person handling online messages, or a grassroots family lacking digital literacy and device usage skills, these scenarios all highlight one truth:
Digital inequality is quietly evolving into a security risk.
The Seed Master Youth Foundation is formed by a group of cybersecurity professionals, educators, and advocates dedicated to promoting digital literacy from the ground up.
By bringing cybersecurity and ethical digital practices into schools, households, and the wider community—through education, training, volunteerism, and cross-sector collaboration—we aim to empower everyone with the ability to protect themselves and, in turn, protect others.

Vision
We believe that every seed of cybersecurity awareness holds the power to shape a better future.
Our vision is to build a society where every citizen possesses digital literacy, the ability to discern truth from falsehood, and understands how to use technology responsibly. This vision goes beyond self-protection—it is about cultivating a community grounded in trust, accountability, and technological ethics.
We envision a world where individuals of all ages can explore the digital world with confidence: where seniors use technology with ease, youth become ambassadors of digital awareness, and people from all walks of life contribute to and safeguard a culture of cybersecurity.

Our Goals
To realize our vision, the Seed Master Youth Foundation has set forth five strategic development goals, accompanied by collective action plans:
Goal #1

Promote Citywide Cyber Safety Education
Goal #2
Develop Youth Cyber Guardianship Programme
Goal #3
Support Grassroots Communities and Vulnerable Groups
Provide parenting workshops, assist families in creating safe online environments in collaboration with schools, and promote community activities such as mini-group sessions and intergenerational digital learning.
Introduce simulation-based learning (e.g., phishing escape room) to encourage active participation.
Offer parent-focused resources and support to foster cyber-safe homes and online environments.
Organize training for primary and secondary students and youth leaders in cybersecurity awareness and digital literacy.
Encourage participation in community outreach by serving as family digital safety coaches and app instructors.
Launch the "Youth Cyber Envoys Scheme" to empower young people to take on leadership roles in cyber education and advocacy.
Conduct digital engagement and outreach programs targeting elderly and grassroots households, including tech home visits and mobile services.
Tailor content for low-literacy groups with accessible explanations and simplified materials. Partner with local welfare units to expand support and deliver cyber wellness to underserved and diverse communities.

Goal #5
Promote Policy Advocacy and Societal Consensus
Goal #4
Foster Intergenerational Tech Learning and Trust Building
Promote “Elder-Youth Co-Learning” initiatives where young people and seniors learn from each other—through events like Parent-Child Tech Playdays and AI Application Workshops for Seniors. These cross-generational collaborations help bridge the digital divide and build mutual trust and cohesion within families.
Leverage frontline observations and research reports to propose targeted recommendations. Connect sectors including welfare, education, and business to build a cross-sectoral cyber education network—enhancing societal recognition that “cybersecurity education = social stability.”
